The Chile Banditos were founded in 2015 by a couple of friends who shared a common passion for fire cooking. What started as a bit of fun quickly evolved into a passionate group of people that continued to push their limits with the use of their favourite spice, The mighty chilli pepper.
“We quickly discovered thousands of different types of chilli peppers through every culture and time period of civilised mankind”. From the mildest Bell Peppers -we know as a capsicum- to the superhot varieties such as the scorpion and ghost peppers, they all have their place in delicious cuisine. Coupled with the age old technique of flame cooking The Chile Banditos aim to define a new style of catering and tear down the myth that chilli peppers are only used for their heat.
Using select timbers and rare heirloom peppers The Chile Banditos have a reputation for serving up award winning flavours at local events, festivals and functions.
