Prema New York had the honor of hosting award winning Australian hairstylist Adam Ciaccia while he was in town to bring his next-level hairdressing stateside. Here, he filmed some cheeky ‘MUST HAVE HAIRCUTS 2019,’ tutorials.
Adam Ciaccia is owner & Creative Director of Canberra’s Axis Hairdressing. Adam is widely regarded as one of Australia’s best haircutters, fine-tuning his cutting style over his 20 year career. He’s drawn influence from many cutting philosophies, his greatest influence being Vidal Sassoon.
Launching his YouTube Channel early 2011, Adam wanted to showcase his work to all corners of the globe. His channel provides an insight to his daily life as a haircutter and allows hairdressers to learn as if they were in the salon learning right next to him.
Adam has created an incredible demand for his services throughout local and national regions in Australia, as well as many international clients that fly in from other countries such as New Zealand, South East Asian, India, North America and even Europe thanks to his exposure via YouTube.
Prema’s New York salon, located in the Lower East Side, was Adam’s home base to tend to his bustling clientele. Adam also showcased his cutting techniques in an intimate hairdressing workshop hosted at Prema!
It was an absolute pleasure hosting Adam and we can’t wait to welcome him back! Be sure to check out Adam’s YouTube channel and follow his Instagram to see when he’ll be making an appearance in your city.
